Temperature-driven spin-zero effect in TaAs2

چکیده
The electrical and thermo-electrical transport properties of the semimetal TaAs2 have been measured in a magnetic field applied along [?2 0 1] direction. resulting dependences resistivity as well Hall, Seebeck, Nernst coefficients below T ? 100 K can be satisfactorily described within two-band model consisting electron hole pockets. At low temperature, all exhibit significant contributions from quantum oscillations. fast Fourier-transform (FFT) oscillatory signal shows two fundamental frequencies, F? = 105 F? 221 T, second harmonic latter (F2? 442 T). ratio between FFT amplitudes F2? changes with temperature an unusual way, indicating observation spin-zero effect caused by change. This is likely related to substantial dependence Landé g-factor, which turn may stem non-parabolic energy dispersion or evolution spin-orbit coupling.

Erratum: Dilute spin glass at zero temperature in general dimension
We study the zero-temperature critical behavior of the dilute Ising spin glass. In our model nearest-neighbor exchange interactions randomly assume the values +J, 0, -J with probabilities p/2, 1-p, and p/2, respectively. We have generated 15th-order series for the Edwards-Anderson spin-glass susceptibility as a function of concentration p on hypercubic lattices in general dimension. Their analy...
متن کاملZero-Temperature Relaxation in Spin-Polarized Fermi Liquids
We discuss the effect of zero-temperature attenuation, which has been recently observed in spin dynamics of spin-polarized Fermi liquids, on other Fermi-liquid processes. The transfer of" this attenuation mechanism J?om transverse spin dynamics to longitudinal processes can be caused by the magnetic dipole interaction, namely, by the direct dipole processes and the dipole coupling between the t...
متن کاملZero-temperature quantum annealing bottlenecks in the spin-glass phase
A promising approach to solving hard binary optimization problems is quantum adiabatic annealing in a transverse magnetic field. An instantaneous ground state-initially a symmetric superposition of all possible assignments of N qubits-is closely tracked as it becomes more and more localized near the global minimum of the classical energy. Regions where the energy gap to excited states is small ...
متن کاملZero-Temperature Dynamics of ± J Spin Glasses and Related Models
We study zero-temperature, stochastic Ising models σ on Z with (disordered) nearest-neighbor couplings independently chosen from a distribution μ on R and an initial spin configuration chosen uniformly at random. Given d, call μ type I (resp., type F) if, for every x in Z, σ x flips infinitely (resp., only finitely) many times as t → ∞ (with probability one) — or else mixed type M. Models of ty...

We prove the existence of a stable solution of the renormalized fixed point equation for the distribution of the single-site magnetization in the Bethe lattice spin glass at zero temperature. The proof is computer assisted. RESUME. Nous prouvons 1’existence d’une solution stable de l’équation de point fixe de renormalisation pour la distribution de la magnétisation d’un spin dans Ie modele de v...
